5.What happens during an Oracle audit if I use secondhand software?

Used Oracle licenses are just as valid in an Oracle audit as new ones—provided that the chain of license ownership is fully documented and the legal requirements for such a purchase have been met.
You should also avoid mixing Oracle licenses with Oracle support and third-party support on the same system. However, this is not a matter of compliance (which is guaranteed), but rather of adhering to the Oracle support policy. ProLicense advises its customers on how to properly comply with this policy.

Technically, there is no difference. Used Oracle software is functionally identical to new Oracle licenses. The only difference is the price: Used Oracle licenses cost at least 80% less than Oracle’s list price. Your Oracle compliance is just as assured as when purchasing new licenses.
However, it is also true that without an Oracle support contract, you have no right to install subsequent versions. It is not certain, however, whether there will even be a subsequent version of the current version available as a perpetual license. Until then, you would certainly have to incur very high support costs. With third-party Oracle support, on the other hand, you’ll save at least 50% on the Oracle support price every year.
